Photograph Poem

Elephant

I see big ears, leathery gray skin and sought-after tusks.

I smell mud and grass.

I hear trumpeting, stomping.

I taste grass and sweat from the midday sun.

I feel happy, happy to see him having fun in the mud, at noon.
